Ram 2500 6 4 resonator delete. 2015 Ram 2500 Mega Cab short bed 6.4 Hemi Got my Mufflex on yesterday. The truck sounds great. Not near as loud as I figured it'd be. But the truck is 40 lbs lighter now with the battleship size factory muffler off. I had to haul it away with a hand truck. Install was pretty easy, but there was no way I could remove that tailpipe rubber hanger. Any 6.4 owners delete the resonator? Do you like the sound? Thinking about getting my done at local muffler shop. They said they can do it for 40 to 60 bucks. $60 if they have to add new tail pipe. Has anyone done something like this in place of that huge ugly resonator on the 2500 6.4L? I hate the way it looks AND it has 2 little holes in the bottom for moisture drains. Exhaust comes out of them and it makes it sound like I have an exhaust leak! I am worried about drone if I delete the resonator altogether.
