Hello first post here new member. I enjoy what I've seen so far, i'm getting really good mod ideas for my 2015 DCLB Tacoma. But here is one I haven't seen. My previous vehicle had ventilated seats, and man it's sooo nice to have on long trips. I know Tacoma's don't have them yet but the Platinum Tundra does. Here is the question. It’s become commonplace for a truck to pull off a spacious cabin with plenty of storage options, but many new trucks offer the latest creature comforts, such as heated and cooled seats, leather upholstery, and the latest infotainment, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. the seat fan draws air from bottom so putting a/c in floor mode will help.these seats are not cooled btw,just ventilated. another mod would to tap into the air ducts near the center console and divert air under the seat instead of shooting it all to the back seats that way you could still have air at the dash registers. I have the Katzkins with heated and cooled seats. The heater works great but the a/c seats aren’t that great. I have a 20 minute commute and they barely start working just a few minutes from the house. Another complaint is the fans are louder than I’d like. For comparison I’ve had a/c seats on several fords and my brother in laws ram.
